Make a difference

Al Kalima has been making a difference in the Arab world since 1998, when we published An Eastern Reading of the Gospel of Luke. Since then we have distributed tens of thousands of books. These books are sold in local bookshops and many are found in public libraries.

Our goal is to build bridges of understanding between Christians and Muslims, transforming attitudes to the Bible. Christ presented, but never persuaded. He let people come to decisions in personal freedom. Seeing books which explain the Bible in public libraries and bookshops can be a normal event. We want to challenge the mistrust between Christians and Muslims and help them to communicate their deepest feelings, beliefs, and values. Our passion is that through the spirit of Christ the dividing wall of hostility separating them be broken down.
